  Absolutely loved staying here! We didn't end up sharing a bathroom in the end and had private use of our own shower and toilet facilities. The breakfast every day was better than most hotel breakfasts. I mentioned my lactose intolerance to the landlady before staying and she went out and bought a load of soya alternatives specifically for me including soya yoghurt, milk and cheese.
  Breakfasts consisted of croissants, bagels, granola, waffles and porridge with a healthy dose of fresh fruit!
  
  Joanna was extremely friendly and informative regarding Fringe festival shows and directions into town. Thoroughly enjoyed talking to her every day.
  Tea and coffee making facilities were in the bedroom and she even gave me a jug of fresh soya milk for whenever we got back on an evening.
  She went out of her way to make our stay as lovely as possible and it really showed. The place was clean and tidy and very accomodating.
  
  I'd highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in Edinburgh and avoid the noise from the central roads!
